The election campaign of the new President of the school is coming to its logical conclusion. At School No. 19, this event takes place at the beginning of each academic year. Therefore, the applicants know that the election of the school President is based on the free exercise of their right to elect and be elected. The participation of our students in the elections is always voluntary.
By the time the elections begin, all candidates know what requirements are imposed on the President and are preparing their election programs. Each applicant carried out campaigning work: in all classes they presented themselves and told about their plans, the Programs of each candidate were posted on the school's website. This year 6 candidates ran and presented their election programs: Ric Eduard -11 "A" class, Boyko Gleb - 9 "B" class, Tikunov Evgeny -8 "A" class, Turkina Larisa -9 "G" class, Surova Maria 9 "B" class, Selezneva Alina 8 "G"
All the guys have prepared decent Programs and are confident of their victory.
All stages of the election campaign are over. What the secret ballot, in which all the students of the school participated, will show, worries everyone. And before the decisive moment – the counting of votes, our meeting took place.
As the head of the school, I was pleasantly surprised with what responsibility our guys approached this event. Our meeting was productive, and the guys, talking about their plans, talked to the point and their ideas, which they want to implement after becoming President, were interesting, constructive and quite feasible. At the end of the conversation, one of the candidates uttered the words that the French writer Andre Gide once said: "To discover new parts of the world, you need to have the courage to lose sight of the old shores." Everyone agreed with him in his opinion: regardless of what the election result will be, the experience they have gained will help them in the future. As a teacher and as a school principal, I was pleased to realize that our younger generation looks far ahead, has solid knowledge an
